There's a walk on September 29th for the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network to raise money for allergy awareness, education, and research. Cooper has a team of family members who are walking and raising money and Chrissy and I have set up a team page where anyone can donate for the walk. We would love it if any of you could take a minute to donate anything you can...we've started it off by donating $20 and we've got a goal of raising $200 in the next couple of months.
To donate or to read more about the network, click here. Thanks so much for anybody who can help Cooper out!! ...and pass the word along to anyone you think may be able to donate anything.

Sounds like a great cause. Having food allergies discovered in the past year with Jessica and I it is something you don't think about until it hits close to home. It really does affect the entire family, too~ just ask my mom for 3rd Sunday dinners. :-) Anyway, thanks for sharing that information. Is the walk in California?
Nope, most of my family lives in Missouri. So, the walk they're doing is in Kansas City. We're just signed up as "virtual walkers". :)
I just talked with my sister, and she said to check out this website www.foodallergy.org for more information on different walks throughout the country. I guess the walks started only a few years ago, but as more interest has risen they are doing more and more walks which leads to more money for research, so it's great! Anyhow, check out the website if you get a minute. :) Thanks for the interest.
