They're TWO!!!

While I was in Missouri, Samantha and Max had a combined birthday party for their second birthdays. Almost all of the family was there from the Thorne side and Anne's family came too to celebrate with Max. The kids had a great time and we had fun watching them.

Max is sporting his Super man pajamas from Grandma Stevens. He didn't want to keep them on, hence the belly showing. :) It was the best picture I could get before he took it off again.

Yeah! Happy Birthday Sam and Max! Here's the group gathered around to sing and cut the cake. We have this on video, but the video's not loaded yet. It'll be up soon.

Sam really wanted to give Max a kiss...he was patient at first, but then he decided she needed to stop. See Becky and Jon's blog for the video of this, it's hilarious.

Sam got lots of dress up clothes from Jen and her kids, what a little princess. :)

When I clicked to take this picture, Max was just smiling. I totally lucked out and got his shocked reaction when the paper came off. What a great shot of the two! Ethan is very determined to get that wrapping off as well. Such cute boys.

If you look closely, the tag says it's from Aunt Chrissy and Uncle Gordon. We got her some play make up, if you look below you'll see she had a blast with it. She had lipstick all over her face and anyone else's who would let her beautify them.

Sam put on her dress up clothes and her make-up and she was ready to go! Here she is swinging with Ella and Grandpa Terry.

"Lipstick anyone?"

And since we were outside, of course the bubbles came out again. In the little kids' party favor bags they each received a new jar of bubbles!

Birthdays really take it out of you. Max was pooped, so he hopped on the couch and relaxed with his sucker. Sam didn't even make it inside. She just plopped down on the chairs outside and slept, for about 10 seconds. :)
