We were able to go to a GREAT park out here called Happy Hallow on Friday. It was Spencer's little 2nd cousin's birthday. All of the kids had a GREAT time. The park has a petting zoo, small regular zoo, rides, puppet shows and a carousel. What more could a toddler want!?
Spencer and Chloe checking out the Lemurs.
Baby Caite hanging on for the ride.
We tried to get a picture of both kids with Aunt Chrissy. One of the kids was cooperating ...
SUPER cool playground area.
Ladybug ride.
Swing ride.
The birthday boy and his cute family.
Spencie and cousin Chloe.
Pretty bird. Cocatoo, I think?
Uncle (kind of) Trevor and the kiddos checking out the squirrel monkeys.
Car rides.
And what better way to end the day than some corn dog bites?
This pretty much sums up how the kids felt about the park.
Loved it.
Loved it.
So, reality check for years down the road when I look back ... it was super fun, although my little active guy did want to run constantly through the park which made for quite a work out for me. But, he had fun. And, sometimes things that are fun for them = a little stressful for me. Like when Natalie and I lost our kids on the giant playground. Yeah ...
But, overall --- awesome.
Doesn't it make you want to come visit us?
If we know you and you're not a crazy blog stalker ...

That looks like the awesomest park ever. And I like how you slip it in at the end that you lost your children. No big deal. Just lost the kids. Have you found them yet?
That "cockatoo" is actually a Macaw. I'm so embarrassed for you - you really should know these things. It's as if you don't even watch Diego.
Yea...telling your children to call him Uncle Trevor is much easier than "First cousin once removed". We run into this all the time with cousins. Aunt Molly, Aunt Katie...that is what makes reunions so much fun! :-)
Looks like the perfect day to celebrate!
Looks like a dream place for toddlers! How fun to have family there with you and the kids all the same ages!
