MO trip ... finally

Spencer and I flew on to MO to visit with family while Dad went back home to earn some dough.

We saw all of the Thorne family and had a great time with everyone! We only overlapped a few days with Kathy and Bill and kids - but had a great time visiting with them while they were there.

Above is a picture from Sam's birthday party. Maddy is holding Sam's little sis, Nora. It was my first time meeting her!

Coop, showing off his monkey skills. He monkey walked up the walls from the bottom of the stairs all the way to the back wall. Impressive.

All of the sisters and Mom went out to lunch (minus Anne, we missed you!) and sadly, this is the only picture I took. I forgot to take my camera in the restaurant. You'll just have to take my word for it - we had fun and the food was awesome.

This is at Sam's birthday. Becky did a "create your own cupcake" assembly line. It was so cute! The kids chose a flavor of cupcake, a package of frosting and then had tons of toppings to decorate with.

We visited with Katie Jo and her sister, Calli, while we were there. She hadn't met Spencer yet - and I hadn't seen her for a few years. It was great to catch up!

Becky also had a birthday while we were in town. She had a little help blowing out her candles. :)

As an early birthday present to me, Becky took Spencer to get some professional pictures taken. Wow. SO cute. And I have to put a plug in for Portrait Innovations. Awesome. And VERY affordable.

We also saw my friend, Lindsay, and her CUTE boys. It was so fun to catch up and we got some cute shots of the boys.

Spence, Grandma and I went on lots of walks. He was a trooper through the whole trip. :)

Grandma, Grandpa, Spence and I went to the Farmer's Market downtown on Saturday morning. We forgot to bring Spencer's shade hat - and he obviously has VERY fair skin. Luckily (or maybe not) Grandma had a pink bandana in the trunk. Ha. My son is firm in his manhood. :)

Sisters, sisters ...

The last night we were in town, Sam had her princess ballerina dance performance. It was adorable, and she did great.

Nora, during the performance. She is SUCH a smiley baby. She's adorable.

Lucy had just woken up from a nap, and wasn't too excited to be there.

Grandma and Grandpa loved catching up with Spencer. They hadn't seen him since he was 2 weeks old. He's changed a bit ...

Mike and Anne and their cute family. This was our first time meeting Ryan, too!

Okay, I apologize. Very cute pictures. We miss you like crazy! For a few days in a row after you left, Sam asked if we could go see Chrissy or if Chrissy was coming over :(

She did? That is so cute, but breaks my heart. She is such a sweet little girl. :)
