Here's a picture so that you can compare and see the real difference between the old and the new.
Anyone who knows Gordon knows his black dress shoes. If you are unfamiliar with them, let me give you a mental picture... they are REALLY old black Rockport shoes. I'm sure at some time in their life they were very nice looking. However, they are now 10 years old! Two of those years of their life were spent on his mission where he wore them EVERY day riding his bike and walking all over. So, the soles are coming apart and there are little holes starting in the toes. Well, this past weekend he got NEW SHOES! We are so excited. He comes home and his feet don't hurt! Who would've thought that new shoes could do so much for a person...

Hooray for new shoes! Did it make your day, Gordon? It sounds like it made Chrissy's day. I always feel like a new woman after buying a new pair :) Hopefully it didn't make YOU feel like a new woman... We miss playing cards with you guys as well. Todd needs a fly fishing buddy. You still fishing Gordon?
