Dear Mr. Cat,

We all fell in love with your cute face as you would prance up on the porch in the evenings.  Then, as soon as we'd open the door to have Spencer sneak a peak, you would pounce into the bushes and run along the fence top.

You're a fast little guy.

We thought you were SO charming ... until yesterday.

Maybe you thought that we would be proud of your hunting skills, but if you could just take a picture of your prey next time and email it to us - we'd really appreciate it.

Our backyard is NOT your drop zone.

Affectionately yours,
Gordon, Spencer and the dead bird cleaner upper-still cleaning feathers out of the grass TODAY lady

P.S.  Poor birdy.

I am sorry...

We had a pair of black labs growing up that would bring home "gifts" a few times during the week. I was always grateful that my dad cleaned up after them.

So you can expect the cat to take pictures, but we can't expect the same from you?

Sad day for the little bird and for you having to clean up after the mess.... I know our cats growing up killed the equivalent of a flock of birds over the years.... NOT a pretty sight.

That means he likes you! But that's still pretty gross

We cleaned up bunny guts/fur last week. Super sick. It's hard to see the whole animal like the bird though. Poor birdy, indeed.
