The night before we left for our Christmas vacation - we opened up our gifts to each other and our gifts for Spencer.Spencer wasn't totally sure what was going on, but he loved eating the paper. :)

Spencer "opening" his gift.
One of the favorites ... jumbo blocks (huge Legos). He loves them, and carries a few around in his hands during the day. He doesn't quite know how to build with them yet, but ...
He's very good at eating them.
Next was bath time. This boy loves being in his birthday suit, and since it was almost his birthday - we let him. Who can enjoy a good story time with all of those heavy clothes to bog you down?
Later, we went for a walk around the lake by our house.
It was right during the sunset. Beautiful.
Spencer walked outside for the first time and was pretty timid about it.

AAAH! Gotta love those big squishy baby bumcheeks! He sports them very well. ;)
The butt picture is adorable and hilarious! Totally reminds me of my kids booties. So funny. It's the only time in life when a little cheese in the back is cute. :)
