Somebody is "FREE" around here!

Spencer turned THREE (well, we celebrated it early with his friends) on SATURDAY!

We had a great birthday party with lots of friends, toys and fun! It was all "Cars" themed.
We decorated Christmas tree ornaments ...(not so car themed, but fun)
We had races. Be a  ... DUCK! Be a ... TIGER! Super cute.
We played pin the lightning flash on McQueen.
Apparently, it was a little old for them.  None of them wanted anything to do with being blindfolded, so they basically closed their eyes ... or said they were closing them ... and ran up to pick their spot.  Ha. We also had a city drawn on the patio in the backyard where they drove their cars that they won (from their pin the lightning on McQueen game) and they raced their cars down the slide.  We had cupcakes with cars on top and I think all of the kids had fun and wore themselves out! Except Spencer.  Both Gordon and I crashed after the party and he just played quietly in his room with his new toys for a little over an hour.  What a good three year old.

We feel SOOO blessed to have him in our family.  We were talking Saturday night about how it seemed like when he woke up that morning, he just acted older.  He is a smart, athletic, funny and cute little boy who gives the BEST big hugs and kisses and is always concerned about being with us.  If one of us is playing with him he'll always ask the other if we want to come or if we can come cuddle him in bed at night.  We had a great family to start with, but this little guy has made it even better than we could have imagined.

We love ya, little man!

Now, let's get potty trained!
