Settling In

We've had lots of family request that we put pictures up on the blog of our new apartment. So, we thought we'd take you on a little virtual tour minus the fancy slideshow effects. Ayhow, here's our new place. Enjoy!

The green door on the left is our front door. This is the view right when you walk in. If you go to the right, there's the living area and kitchen. If you go to the left, there's the guest bathroom and office.

There's a little nook in the wall right as you walk in the door. It took us a while to decide what to put there, but here's what we came up with.

This is the guest bathroom, it looks almost identical to the master bathroom except the floor plan is flipped. Taylor, Steph...notice anything familiar in here? :)

Any of you who have talked to us lately know that we've been busy for a while refinishing our kitchen table. It used to be a pine finished table, but we sanded it down (it took a LONG time) and finished it like this. We really like it, but it was hard work. As you can tell, there are still two chairs that aren't all the way finished still in the garage.

Here's a chair up close. These took the longest to do.

And here's the living room. We just got the rug yesterday and love it!
